CORBA
Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) is a sepecification for
distributed objects interoperation. Itself is not an implementation. It
is just an interface defined by the Object Management Group
(OMG), which
is a non-profit consortium established in 1989. The purpose of OMG is to
promoting theory and practice of object technology in distributed computing
systems.
