The Prize Exams of Spring 2005

The Junior and Senior Prize Exams at Brooklyn College are given early every spring. Each exam traditionally contains seven problems, but there may be an overlap between the problems on these exams. The students are given three hours to solve as many problems as they can, but they are not usually expected to solve all problems on the exams.

The Senior Prize Exam was not given this spring. The problems on the Junior Prize Exam without their solutions, in PDF form, can be viewed by clicking here. These problems on the Junior Prize Exam, in PDF form, with their solutions and their sources can be viewed by clicking here.

A description of how these PDF files were produced, as well as some issues concerning producing PDF output from TeX files, are discussed here.
