Shaar Niknor - On the eastern side of the Azarah, stood the Gates of Niknor. This was the entrance from the Ezras Nashim to the Azarah. However, it was customary to leave the Azarah through small gates on either side of Shaar Niknor so as not to face one's back to the Haichal. The two special goats of Yom Kippur stood near the Shaar Niknor until they were used in the Avodah.
