Completion of the Korban Tamid

After the Ketores was burned, the Kohanim would complete the Korban Tamid. The group who won the fourth Pahyis brought the parts of the animal to the top of the Mizbayach and threw them on to the fire. Other Kohanim took the Korban Mincha (flour and oil) and Minchas Chavitin to the Mizbayach. Lastly, a Kohain poured the wine of the Nessachim on the Mizbayach while the Leviim sang and played instruments. All other Korbanos of private individuals, and on Yom Tov, the Korbanos Mussaf of the community, can then be brought. The Kohain Gadol continued with the Avodah special to Yom Kippur.

The last Korban of the day was the Korban Tamid of the afternoon, with its acommpanying Minchah and another Ketores offering. The procedure was similar to the one for the Tamid in the morning.
