This homework assignment is due on Wednesday 11th December.
This deadline gives you a bit more time to complete the homwork than usual, because of the disruption that Thanksgiving causes to the schedule.
I have also updated the link to NQC on the Robotics Project page, and added some additional links to NQC resources.
This allocation was based on emails I received. All students who requested a particular kind of project have received it. All students who did not request a particualr kind of project are doing the programming project.
The kits for the robot project are now ready for collection from me. Email me and let me know when you want to pick them up. Remember that I need a $200 deposit (which you get back when you return the kit) before I can give you the kit.
The due date for all projects will be 11th December. Since it is so close ot the end of term, there will be no extensions to this date.
This homework assignment is due on Wednesday 20th November.
Project descriptions are now posted on the Projects page.
Remember that you have to choose whether you will do the robotics project or the programming project before class on the 13th, and email me what your choice is.
As you should have noticed, the date of the final has been set. It will be on the 18th December.
Please note that I will not be on campus after 13th December, so do not expect to be able to find me in my office.
I have marked the midterm, and it will be returned in class tonight.
You should review your mark and consier whether it makes sense for you to stay in the class; you have until 11/13 to drop the class and still get a non-penalty grade.
The midterm has moved. It will now be on the 30th October.
The reason for the move is to allow you to have 2 weeks to complete the homework assignment, and still make it possible for me to mark it and return it before the midterm.
The second homework is now posted on the homework page.
This homework assignment is due on Wednesday 23rd October.
The first homework is now posted on the homework page.
This homework assignment is due on Wednesday 9th October.
Please look at the submission page for information on how to submit your homework.
Notes from the first four lectures are now posted. These can be accessed from the syllabus page.
My aim will be to have all notes on the website at least by the Monday before the lecture.
After taking your opinions on the matter, office hours have been set for 5.00 pm until 6.00 pm on Wednesday.
Welcome to the course.
