answers

  1. What is the textbook?

The textbook is Russell and Norvig's "Artificial Intelligence: A modern approach". More details can be found on the information page.

  2. Where are the notes?

A link may be found on the syllabus page.

  3. Where are the homeworks?

A link may be found on the homework page.

  4. Is this a theory class or a programming class?

    Both.

The class will involve both theory and programming.

  5. Will we get to program robots in this class?

    No.

Programming real robots is a bit much to fit into the course. We'll certainly talk about techniques that are used to program robots, and we'll do some programming projects that involve simulated robots, but to program real robots you'll need to take CISC 3415.
