I posted the seventh and last homework to the homework page. This is a long homework.

Homework will follow
I wanted to post the last homework over the weekend, but a deadline crunch means that didn't happen. Instead I'll post homework over the coming weekend.
That means it will be due on the last class of the semester, which means I won't be able to mark and return it before the exam. However, I will answer any questions you have about it in that last class, and if we have time I might even be able to mark it and give you feedback during class.
The notes for the tenth class (on negotiation) are linked from the syllabus page.
The notes for the ninth class (on auctions) are linked from the syllabus page.
I also posted the third project to the projects page.
I posted the sixth homework to the homework page. This is a long homework.
Note that the homework is due on Tuesday, which is when the next class takes place (thanks to the vagaries of the CUNY calendar).
The notes for the eighth class are linked from the syllabus page.
I posted the fifth homework to the homework page. This is a long homework.
As some of you have noticed, there is a bug in the code I posted for the first project. Sometimes when all the rocks have been picked up and moved to the spaceship/base, the simulation still thinks there is a rock to be collected.
This comes about because when a patch is picked to be the spaceship/base, there is no check if it is already a rock. If it is, when the patch is re-colored nothing decrements the rock counter, so the counter is set too high.
I posted a revised version (not the most elegant solution) on the projects page.
I also posted the second project to the projects page.
The notes for the seventh class are linked from the syllabus page.

The (short) third homework is available from the homework page.
I also posted the first project to the projects page. It isn't due for a while, but it would be sensible to get started on it soon.
