Here are the latest grades.

Here is another JavaScript Lesson. This lesson is for extra credit. You can earn up to 2 extra credit points by working on this lesson (depending on how much you get done successfully.) Follow the directions for submission; I will only consider submissions sent by midnight on the 15th.

The 2nd JavaScript HW is due today by midnight. Note the pushed-back due date -- gotta love technical difficulties. Here is the main page for the homework assignment. Also note that I will probably assign another HW due on the 10th, so get started on this early.

Here is a Word file with the notes/handout from today's class.

Meet in 313 RE today only!
Here is the lab experience for the day...
The exercises from this lab are due in class on the Tuesday after spring break.
Here are solutions for questions 4 and 5 from HW7. I'm happy to discuss solutions to other HW questions (particularly HW7-8) in class, especially after today (we have other things to do in the lab).

Homework 6 is due in class today. This homework asks you to do some base conversions. Note that here is a tool (accesible from the main Core 5 page as the "Number Systems" link) that lets you explore conversions -- you can in fact use this tool to check your results on the homework. So everyone should be able to get 100% on this assignment -- but you obviously won't have this tool available on the test, so you need to understand the conversion process fully!

Here is a brief summary of the lesson on Notepad from today's lab. You may want to refer to this next week, when I'll start asking you to create some simple HTML pages.

Course Information

This is a "partially virtual" course: occasionally, a regular class meeting will be replaced by an "on-line" assignment. In addition, we will meet a few times in a computer lab. These irregularities in our schedule will be announced in class in advance and posted here.
