This is a 16 page document on UNIX -- easy to print and keep on hand for reference.
To start, you should focus on Section 5 (general UNIX commands). We'll also be talking about gcc (the first couple pages), although we won't be getting into some of the more advanced features (such as make, gdb) until later in the semester.
