12/01/08 FINAL EXAM:
Section MW9b: Monday, Dec. 22, 8:00am - 10:00pm. Room 106F.
Section MW11: Monday, Dec. 22, 10:30am - 12:30pm. Room 106F.

About 80% of the final will be on Access. The remaining 20% will cover PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Windows.
11/9/08 Exam 2 is scheduled for Monday, November 17. The exam is on Microsoft EXCEL. It will be a short answer, closed book, closed computer exam. A review sheet has been posted.
10/12/08 All classes this week are cancelled. You have a lab assignment to complete on your own -- page EX 149, Lab 1: Sales Analysis Worksheet. On page EX 150, you have the instructions for Part 1, numbered 1-18. You can do 1-11 so far, and the entire assignment (1-18) will be due on October 22.
09/28/08 Exam 1 has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 29. The exam will cover the following topics: Introduction to Computers, Windows, and Word. It will be a short answer, closed book, closed computer exam.
09/16/08 Homework submission Announcement: ALL homeworks after Assignment #2 will be submitted as hard copies only. There will be no more email submissions. You may print your documents either at school or at home, and it is not necessary to have a colored printer.
09/09/08 Homework submission Announcement: When you submit your homework, the SUBJECT of the email must be: CIS 5.2 MW9b Lastname, Firstname, Hmwk1
OR CIS 5.2: MW11b Lastname, Firstname Hmwk1 (depending on your section.)
09/09/08 Reading assignment: Word Chapter 1.
09/03/08 Reading assignment: Windows Chapter 1. Practice moving/copying/deleting files and folders using Windows Explorer and the folder hierarchy.
