3/28/2014 Exam 2 will be scheduled for Thursday, May 1.
Topics include: Reference parameters (section 6.13), Files (section 3.14), Arrays (chapter 7), Strings (chapter 10), History of computing.
Review will be in class on the Tuesday before the exam.
3/28/2014 Homework 6 on arrays and functions has been posted and it is due on Thursday, April 10.
3/28/2014 Code is posted for the programs that we wrote in class for the employee pgm, comparing arrays, and arrays and functions.
3/12/2014 Code is posted for the program that we wrote in class for the answer to the last question on the sample exam from Fall 2012.
3/5/2014 Code is posted for the program that we wrote in class on Average number of days out.
3/3/2014 Exam 1 is scheduled for Thursday, March 13. Review will be in class on March 11. Topics include Chapters 1-6 in the Gaddis textbook.

2/6/2013 You should be doing Codelab Chapters 2 and 3. You are also required to read Chapters 1 and 2, and parts of Chapters 3,4, and 5 (reading data, simple if stmt, for loop).
1/21/2014 Welcome to CISC 1110! This is the first programming course -- a gateway into the field of computer science. The department has a webpage for this course: see the link above on the left. The first day of class is Tuesday, January 28. There is a departmental final for this course which will take place on: Wednesday, May 21, 2014, 3:30-5:30 PM.
