Hyperlinks

Hyperlinks are pieces of text, usually, blue-colored, that, if clicked, automatically navigate to the webpage to which they connect. An example of a hyperlink is https://www.google.com/, which lead to the Google search page.

Suppose you just sat next to a computer that has some browser window open, but you can remember/recognize which one browser it is. You can find what browser you are using by going to a website like https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ that will display the browser’s name and even version number!

We will talk more about hyperlinks, including how to create them and change them when needed, and what objects we can create hyperlinks for, when we cover the Microsoft Word app.
