Boolean Algebra & Logic Gates

In this chapter, we will:

1. Learn what transistors are, what kinds of transistors exist, and why they are important to computer architecture.
2. Introduce logic gates and their function in computing.
3. Work with Boolean expressions, and illustrate them with logic gate diagrams.
4. Find out what Karnaugh maps are, and use them to simplify Boolean expressions.
