Operating System Debugging

The view of a log file. Each line in this file corresponds to an event. The information for each events consists of date, time (hours-minutes-seconds), the name of the user by whom the event happened, the name of the operating system program that logged the event, and a short description of what happened. Events that stand for errors are colored red: a total of 3 error events are on the screenshot. One has to do with authentication failure: 'pam_unix(sudo:auth): authentication failure: logname= uid=1000 euid=0 tty=/dev/pts/0 ruser=cisc3350 rhost= user=cisc3350' and the other two errors say 'failed adding user 'vboxadd', data deleted'.
