Authorization Mechanisms

  1. A network ACL will list all the IP addresses that are permitted or not permitted to access a device on the network.
    Network ACLs act like filters that block access to disallowed users/devices. ACLs consist of the permit/deny rule, source IP address, destination IP address, and the traffic type (IP or TCP).
