The Stream Classes

• Several classes that deliver input as a stream of raw bytes, or write raw bytes.

  • BufferedInputStream, FileInputStream.
  • BufferedOutputStream,FileOutputStream.

• Their read and write methods take byte[] rather than char[] arguments.
