		Devorah Kletenik is an Associate Professor in the  Department of Computer and Information Science at Brooklyn College and in the  Computer Science Doctoral Program at the CUNY Graduate Center. She is the director of the Design4All Lab. 
		
Her research interests include accessibility, serious games, computer science education, Boolean functions and algorithms.

Her work is currently supported by:
- a pilot grant from the American Cancer Society to investigate accessible software design for cancer survivors with impairments
- a SIGCSE Special Projects Grant to study neurodiversity and accessibility
- a grant from the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline exploring experiental learning of acccessibility
Previous grant support included:
- a grant from the Public Interest Technology University Network to facilitate curricular design in public interest technology using OER (co-PI)
- funding from Women in Technology in NY (currently Break Through Tech) and from SIGCSE Special Projects to develop a serious game to reinforce programming concepts
- a Teach Access Faculty Grant funding accessibility education
In 2023, she was awarded both the Claire Tow '52 Award for Excellence in Teaching and the inaugural School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences Teaching Award in Computer and Information Sciences. In 2025, she was awarded the Tow Award for Excellence in Mentoring for her achievements in undergraduate research mentorship.
