The homework assignments are:
There are two kinds of homework.
One kind (homework 1 is an example) is short and open-ended, with the aim of encouraging discussion in class. There will be a small amount of credit for completing these, so long as you show you have given them some thought (there aren't any right answers).
The other kind of homework is bigger, and you'll get more credit for these (but you'll have to get them right). Homeworks 2, 3 and 4 are examples of this kind of homework.
