Submission Instructions and Late Policy.
One kind is short and open-ended, with the aim of getting you to thnk through some of the topics and encouraging discussion in class. There will be a small amount of credit for completing these, so long as you show you have given them some thought (there aren't any right answers).
The other kind of homework is longer, and you'll get more credit for these (but you'll have to get them right). You will typically get more time to complete the longer homeworks.
All the homeworks will give you some idea what kinds of things might be asked on the final exam.
