I am an Assistant Professort in the department of Computer and Information Science at Brooklyn College. I did my Ph.D. at George Mason University, advised by Dr. Parth Pathak . I did my Masters in Information Security and Assurance at George Mason University and my Bachelors of Engineering at SSN college of engineering , Chennai, India.
My research interests are in wireless and mobile computing, sensing, and next-generation wireless networks. I am interested in addressing the robustness and scalability challenges in emerging sensing technologies. I am currently interested in the following topics:
- mmWave (millimeter wave 60 GHz) sensing with applications like human-computer interaction (HCI), health, and accessibility.
- Wearable sensing (smart-watches, smart rings, etc.) with applications like human-computer interaction (HCI), health, and accessibility.
- Modality transfer between different sensing modalities to address scalability challenges
- Sensing for mobile systems, and cyber-physical systems.
- Addressing accessibility challenges in emerging technologies through sensing.
