This is the web page of Simon Parsons, Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at Brooklyn College. I am Graduate Deputy Chair of the department and co-director of the Agents Lab.

My research interests are in the general area of autonomous agents and multi-agent systems. Particular topics that I am currently working on include: all of which (at least to me) relate to the coordination of autonomous agents.

More information on my research interests is available, along with some details of projects for which I have funding, and a list of all the projects of the Agents Lab.

Also available is a list of my publications (many of which can be downloaded).

In Fall 2012 I will be teaching: For information on previous courses I have taught, please see my teaching page.

Personal stuff

I also hold visiting positions as Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom and in the Department of Informatics at King's College London. In addition, I am affiliated with the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University.

If you want to know more about me and what makes me tick, for instance if you are looking for like-minded people to collaborate with, or if you are considering applying for a PhD and want to get some insight into what I might be like as a supervisor, then you can check out some more personal stuff about me.

Finally, here is a picture of me and the guys. This was taken a few years ago now; the youngest is a junior in high school and is taller than I am (but it is still my favorite picture of us all).
